As the co-founder of NEWWAY, Ezio Bortolussi has over 35 years of construction formwork experience. He is well known within the industry for his straight forward and honest approach to business. Ezio oversees all aspects of NEWWAY’S business activities to ensure that the company’s dedication to quality and client satisfaction is reflected in each and every NEWWAY Project.
Sal Giantomaso – Principal
Co-founder of NEWWAY, Salvatore Giantomaso, with his 36 years of experience has allowed NEWWAY to reach markets outside British Columbia. Salvatore is directly involved in all the operations in Calgary and Seattle. His broad management and field work experience are valuable assets in directing the daily operations of any complex project.
Nancy Chin – Controller
Nancy has an extensive financial management background with 20 years experience. She is directly responsible for strategic planning, accounting, legal and risk management issue for the entire NEWWAY Group.
Franco Corona – Director of Operations
Bringing over 40 years of experience to his role, Franco Corona, is NEWWAY’S Director of Operations. He has the overall responsibility for daily project management and field operations; tendering of projects and regular contact with all site superintendents. He is directly involved in the coordination of the crews, scheduling and cost control and leads the valued engineering analysis reviews during design developments. Corona’s extensive knowledge of construction technology and his innovative approach, often lead to significant cost and time savings for the client.
Keith McCall – Manager for Alberta
Keith joined NEWWAY in 2008, as a member of the team constructing The Bow project in Calgary. He received is B.D.T. diploma in 1979, C.E.T. designation in 2002; Gold Seal Certificate in Estimating in 1995, and is a current member of A.S.E.T. Prior to joining NEWWAY, Keith spent 20 years with some of Canada’s top construction companies as Chief Estimator looking after Civil & Heavy Civil projects throughout North America.
Christopher Birtch – Manager USA
With more than 30 years in Structural Concrete Management throughout Western US, Canada and the Bahamas, Chris brings his varied knowledge from Project acquisition right through to job closeout. He also provides overall leadership to the management team during construction. Over the years, his background, has led to the completion of a varied collection of High-rises, Commercial Offices, Hotels, Residential and Industrial Projects.
Doug Boulet – General Supervisor
Doug oversees NEWWAY’S Strategic Planning and Construction Operation in British Columbia being responsible for ensuring project teams are provided with the necessary support and resources to meet their project’s scheduling, cost and quality requirements. Doug brings 40 years of practical construction experience both in the fields and in a senior manager capacity where he has tackled many projects from residential to commercial, civil and industrial.
